MACKAY Alexander (Alex) (late of Fitzwilliam Square and Leeson Park Nursing Home) - April 10, 2013, (peacefully), in the Beacon Hospital, in his 96th year, husband of the late Kay; missed by his sons Paul and Ian, grandchildren Ronan, Elva, Gavan, Neil, Farran, Alice and Euan, great-grandchildren Hannah and Dara, daughters-in-law Lila and Susan, extended family and his many colleagues and friends. His family much appreciate the care given to Alex by all the staff at Leeson Park Nursing Home, his doctor Donal Buckley, and the staff of the Beacon Hospital. As Alex has donated his body to the College of Surgeons there will be no funeral Service. There will be a memorial celebration for him in early May.
