FITZGIBBON, EMER

FITZGIBBON, Emer (née Sharkey) (Baltimore Cork and formerly Rathgar) August 9, 2019, in her ninety-seventy year, peacefully at Bantry General Hospital after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Denis, loving mother of Orla, Aveen, Emer, Frank, Fiona (Tweet) and Jill. She will be very sadly missed by her family, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sister Brona, sister–in-law Marie, sons-in-law David, Padraig, Jens-Erik, Niall and Jules, daughter-in-law Isabel, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Hurley’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on today (Saturday) from 4pm to 6pm with family in attendance. Reception into the Sacred Heart Church, Rath, Baltimore on Monday, (August 12) at 11.30am followed by Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to Tullagh Cemetery, Baltimore.
