STAPLETON, (née Ward (Athlone) April 10, 2016, Peacefully after a long illness bourne with great dignity in the loving care of nurses and staff of Sonas Nursing home, Nora, Slí an Afrinn. Predeceased by her beloved husband Lt. Col. Pat. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Annette and Noreen, sons Vincent, Aidan, Paul and Anthony, in-laws, her fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at Flynn's Funeral home, The Strand on Wednesday evening from 6-30pm with removal at 7-40pm to St.Mary's church arriving at 8-00pm. Requiem Mass Thursday at 10-30am followed by burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery.
