VICKERS, Michael, (Upper Rosses Point, Co. Sligo and formerly of Blackrock, Dublin), March 20, 2023, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Deirdre and father of Stephen, Paul, Brian, Allie and Susan. He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, sons, daughters, sisters Jacquie and Dairine, son-in-law Fran, daughter-in-law Anna, Susan’s partner Thomas, cherished grandchildren Noah, Elin, Alex, Sam, Molly and Adam, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Reposing at his home today (Tuesday) from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 12.00 noon tomorrow (Wednesday) in Saint Columba’s Church, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo and will be livestreamed via www.studiorove.ie/Vickersm. Burial follows in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to SHOUT (Sligo Hospital Oncology Unit Trust) c/o Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo at www.feehilys.ie/pay. Family home private outside of reposing times.
