BALFE, Eamonn, Ardkeen Village, Waterford, formerly of Claremorris Co. Mayo, on Wednesday 21st August 2024, peacefully after a long and full life. He will be deeply missed by loving wife Áine, children Mary, Anne, Tricia, Carmel, John and Nora, grandchildren Cian, Aisling, Neil, Emi, Luke, Miles, Paddy and Laurie, great-grandchildren Gwenllian, Llewela and Mair, siblings Maura, Ethel, Anne, Noreen and Liam, partners and extended family. Predeceased by daughter Bern and brother Seanie. Family flowers only please, and donations if desired to St. Francis Hospice, whose staff took such good care of him in his last days. House private. Funeral mass on Saturday 24th August in St. Mary’s Church, Ballygunner at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
