COTTER - Sylvester, Hill House, Rochestown, Acknowledgement and First Anniversary, 5th July, 2025. As we lovingly remember Sylvester on his first anniversary, his wife Olive and children, Benvon, Edward, Eavan and John, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported us following our sad loss. We were deeply touched by the many expressions of sympathy, Mass cards, letters, messages, floral tributes and acts of kindness. To everyone who attended the Removal, Funeral Mass and burial, or who joined us online, your presence and support brought great comfort during a difficult time. We extend our sincere appreciation to Sylvesters brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, our extended family and friends, whose kindness and support helped us in so many ways. We warmly acknowledge support of Fr. Benedict, the con- celebrating clergy, Jerh OConnor Funeral Directors, the musician Fiona OReilly and all who helped make the Funeral Mass a fitting celebration of Sylvesters life. Sylvesters granddaughters, Laoise, Aoibhe and Siofras musical recital created a special moment that he would have treasured dearly. And to his beloved clubs, Nemo Rangers and Douglas Golf Club, who provided Guards of Honour. We remain truly grateful to all who travelled long distances, sent messages of condolence, prepared food, visited our home or offered practical support and friendship.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
