McEVOY - Simon Malachy B.D.S. (Abbeyleix, Co. Laois) suddenly but peacefully May 25, 2021. Sadly missed by his loving wife Emma, daughters Aisling and Vivienne, sons-in-law Padraig McHale and Paul Keaney, adored grandchildren Dylan, Cillian and Eimear, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

In compliance with the current COVID-19 restrictions, a private family funeral will take place at The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix at 12.00 noon today (Thursday) followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. The requiem Mass will be live streamed on https://abbeyleixparish.ie/webcam/

Those who would like to attend but cannot due to restrictions are invited to express condolences on www.irishtimes.com. No flowers by request. Donations in lieu to Peter McVerry Trust (https://pmvtrust.ie/donate/)
