HUSSEY, Dermot, Comdt., 91. (New York and formerly of Tralee, Co. Kerry) — November 29, 2011, (peacefully), he is survived by his beloved wife Peggy, his memory will be treasured by his children Tony, Frank, Nuala, Emer and Deirdre, his grandchildren Kevin, Gareth, Aidan, Dashiell, Brianna and Conor; and his great-grandchildren Max and Scarlett; he will also be dearly missed by his daughter-in-law Trude and his son-in-law Russell as well as by his granddaughter-in-law Sari. He served in the Irish Defence Forces for 21 years. He thereafter joined the United Nations in New York until his retirement. Visitation will be at Leo F. Kearns Funeral Home, 61-40 Woodhaven Boulevard, Rego Park, N.Y. today (Thursday), December 1, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral Mass is tomorrow (Friday), December 2, 2011 at Resurrection Ascension Church on Woodhaven Boulevard at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the New York Irish Centre, 10-40 Jackson Ave., Long Island City, N.Y.
