DOWNES, O.P., Sr. Carmel (Dominican Convent, Cabra, Dublin formerly Dominican Convent Santa Sabina Sutton, and Dominican Convent Muckross Park, Dublin) – 31st March 2024, peacefully in the care of the community and staff of Santa Sabina House, Navan Road. Deeply regretted by her loving sister-in-law Angela Downes, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, extended family, Dominican sisters, past pupils, and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Cyril, Bernard and sister Mary. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Dominican Convent, Cabra St. Mary’s (D07AF8P) today (Wednesday) 3rd April from 3pm to 6pm. with Prayers at 5.30pm. Removal to Dominican Chapel, Cabra, for Requiem Mass tomorrow (Thursday) 4th April at 11.30am, followed by burial at the adjoining cemetery.
