HEFFERNAN, Margaret (née Hynes) Glasnevin, in her 103rd year. Born in Manchester 1912, died at her home in Dublin on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Tommy (Heffernan's Grocery Store, Glasnevin) and dearly beloved mother of Malachy and Attracta (Sheils); sadly missed by her family, her granddaughters Eleanor and Cathy, her great-grandsons Cian, Oisin and Fionn, her daughter-in-law Mary, Eleanor's husband John, her devoted carers Diane, Denise, Sharon and Eileen, her neighbours and her many friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at her residence today (Wednesday) from 4.00 pm. until 8.00 pm. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 10.00 am. in the Church of Our Lady of Dolours, Glasnevin. Funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Cemetery.
HEFFERNAN, Margaret (Glasnevin and Cremore) died January 20, 2015 - On the First Anniversary of her death, Malachy, Attracta and extended family take this occasion to thank sincerely all those who supported their mother in her final illness and who sympathised at the time of her passing, friends, neighbours, colleagues, carers, hospice staff and clergy, all those who sent cards and letters, called to wake her and attended her funeral. In particular we would like to thank Margaret's friends whose loyalty was so supportive to her during her declining years. We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our gratitude."A man lives for as long as we carry him inside us"
