MATHEWS Maurice J (Raheny, Dublin 5, died April 11th 2011) - On the 1st anniversary of his death, Maurice's wife, Kay, daughters Deirdre and Emer, sons Malachy and Rory, brother Joe, sisters Teasy (Hull) and Betty (Vancouver), and his 9 grandchildren, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to extended family, friends, neighbours, former colleagues at Esso, members of the Probus Club of Howth and the many more who supported us during his illness and passing. To those who attended the funeral Mass, offered kind words, sent cards and messages of sympathy, we will always be grateful for your kindness and presence. We wish to thank Fr. Aidan Galvin who presided over the removal and funeral Mass. The family wishes to acknowledge the wonderful care of Dr. Thomas Houlihan, and Professor Sheehan and the staff of Bon Secours Hospital Glasnevin, we will always remember their kindness and dedication. We also extend thanks to Jonathan and his team at Staffords' for their professionalism and sensitivity with the funeral arrangements. Finally, a very special mention to our dear friend Geraldine Barrett whose dedication, care and love for Maurice will never be forgotten. Please accept this as a sincere acknowledgement of our deep gratitude to you all.
