anniversary of Austin’s death approaches, his wife Margot, daughter
Susanne, brother Fr Enda and sisters Monica, Marie, Aine, Patricia and
Eithne would like to thank most sincerely all those who supported us in our
time of loss. Your many kindnesses, calls, Mass cards, prayers, candles,
flowers and messages of condolences were of great comfort to us all and are
greatly appreciated. A special word of thanks to all the medical
professionals who cared for Austin over many years in St. Vincent
University Private and Public hospitals, the Pulmonary Unit in St Michael’s
Hospital, his GP of many years, Dr Alex Khourie, and the wonderful friends
he made at the Bray COPD Group. We also sincerely thank the family, friends
and neighbours who offered support and those who attended or viewed the
funeral mass online. Special thanks to Fr Enda for the moving funeral
service and to the musicians for their beautiful contribution. Thank you to
the Public Service Credit Union for their very generous donation to COPD
Ireland in Austin’s name. To those we cannot thank personally, please
accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy
Sacrifice of Mass has been offered for your intentions.
