CAREY - Bernard (Bayside, Dublin 13) -

On the occasion of Bernard’s First Anniversary (May 28, 2021), his wife Eva, sons Ronan and Andrew, daughter Eva and extended family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all those who sympathised and supported us on our incredibly sad loss. We would like to thank Prof. Oscar Breannach, his team, the staff of the Day Oncology Ward, St. Mary’s Ward, the Pastoral Care Team and all at the Bons Secours Hospital Glasnevin who cared for Bernard so well. To Bernard’s former colleagues in the Dept. of Health and teammates at Mid-Sutton FC we are extremely grateful for your support. We wish to thank Fr. Peter Finnerty who celebrated the funeral Mass. To Kirwans Funeral Directors who showed great kindness and compassion in looking after Bernard and arranging music for the funeral Mass. We wish to thank our relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with us, sent messages, cards and flowers. A special thank you to all those who came to sympathise with us outside our home and Bayside Church. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, particularly at these times, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude.
