MADDEN, Joan (née Farrell), (Leeson Street, Dublin and formerly of Artane), August 11, 2017, (unexpectedly) in the tender care of the staff at St. James's Hospital, Dublin. Beloved wife and best friend of Ed, devoted mother of Tara and Aimée, loving sister of Ruth and her late brothers Paddy and James. Joan will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, sons-in-law, brother-in-law, other relatives and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at Carnegies Funeral Home, 19 The Crescent, Monkstown, Co. Dublin, tomorrow (Tuesday) August 15, from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 16, at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, Dublin 4, followed by burial at Mount Venus Cemetery, Mount Venus Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. "Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis"
