McCANN, Gerard (Gerry) (Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin, formerly of Ballykeel, Mullaghbawn, Co. Armagh and late of Teagasc) - March 30, 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the kind and tender care of the staff of the Blackrock Hospice. Gerry was the beloved husband of the late Eileen (née O’Donoghue) and devoted Dad to Geraldine, Catherine, Fergus and John. He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters, sons, cherished grandchildren Frank, Elizabeth, Kathleen, Sarah, Zoe, Daniel, Rian and Laura, brothers Michael, Brian and Eugene, sisters Bridget and Elizabeth, sons-in-law Daragh and Mark, daughters-in-law Jo and Louise, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family across the globe (some newly discovered), his large circle of friends and wonderful neighbours. Gerry will be reposing at his home tomorrow afternoon (Thursday, April 4) from 4.30pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, April 5 at 10am in the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Mass can be viewed on the Church webcam. Family flowers only, please.
