TIERNEY - June 25, 2014, Templeogue, Dublin 6W and formerly of Guinness, (suddenly), in Spain, Michael, beloved husband and best friend of Margaret, and much loved Dad of Graham, Alison and Niall; he will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his wife, daughter and sons, daughtersinlaw Tracy and Molly, soninlaw Eddie, his adoring grandchildren, Ella, Shaun, James and Shane, brothers, sisters, brothersinlaw, sisters inlaw, extended family, relatives and a wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at his home this (Wednesday) evening from 4 o´c. to 8 o´c. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning to St. Jude the Apostle Church, Willington (Orwell Park) arriving at 10.50 for 11 o´c. Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Mount Venus Cemetery. TIERNEY Michael (Templeogue) died June 25, 2014. Beloved husband of Margaret (née Rice), father of Graham, Alison and Niall, Grandad of Ella, Shaun, James and Shane, brother of Pat, Terry, Joe, Geraldine (Breslin) and Mary (Duggan), father-in-law of Eddie, Molly and Tracy. On the First Anniversary of Michael's death we remember him with love and miss him dearly. To all relatives, friends, neighbours, those who travelled from abroad, who attended the funeral, called to our home, we say a heartfelt thank you for all your cards, letters, phone calls and support at that difficult time and your continued support over the past year. Special thanks to Fr. Eugene McCarthy and Fr. Gregory O'Brien for their celebration of the funeral Mass and to Victoria Massey for her beautiful singing. Thanks to those who contributed to the Irish Heart Foundation in Michael's memory and to the Youth Activities Committee, Leinster Badminton for naming a perpetual trophy and tournament in his honour. Thanks to our wonderful friends in Spain, Ken and Jackie who were so kind and helped us so much in every way while Michael was in hospital. It is a great comfort to know he was loved and respected by so many from all aspects of his life. Please accept our sincere gratitude for all your kind thoughts. Michael's Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in the Church of St. Jude of the Apostle, Willington tomorrow (Sunday) at 11.30 a.m.
