Dear Anne, Barbara, Patrick, Maurice & all of Pat’s friends and family, I was so very sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. I was lucky enough to spend lots of time in the Coyle household as a kid growing up on the road. It was a very fun house to be in and I will always remember Pat as kind, funny and patient - even when I’m sure us kids were being a handful!! In later life when I would occasionally bump in to him, he always had a moment to spare for a chat. He was an extremely decent and lovely man. I’m thinking of you all and I’m so sorry for your loss.

Rest in Peace

A Dublin Friend

I'm very sorry to hear of Pat's death. He was a fellow Humanist Celebrant. We were both accredited around the same time and always enjoyed my dealings with him. He was a lovely man with a smart wit and always had interesting & funny observations about working as a Celebrant (which I think he very much enjoyed). May he rest in peace.

So sorry to learn of Pat's passing. We were friends in Blackrock College and spent many happy days together in Stillorgan. I enjoyed reuniting with Pat at a school reunion recently in Dublin. My deepest sympathy to all who knew and loved him.
