HAYES - David (Koh Phangan, Thailand and Rathmines, Dublin), died on January 10, 2025. Doris, his wife, Maeve his mother and Mark his brother wish to thank most sincerely for their support and kindness; Our extended family, friends and colleagues who attended David's reposing and the celebration of his life. In particular, we appreciate those who travelled long distances to do so. We also thank those who sent messages of sympathy, letters and mass cards. We are deeply grateful and touched by the support we received and the expressions of love and affection for David. His life well-lived is beautifully reflected in the kindness and caring of those who join us in mourning his passing. As a family we thank Fanagans Funeral Directors and Shay Byrne, who helped us give David a farewell that we will always cherish. Jeremy Morgan and Owen Brady absolutely smashed the Pixies cover, Where Is My Mind? David himself would want to thank all of the medical team who cared for him in recent years, especially Professor Tom Moran whom he really liked, which helps.
To all of the above,
thank you so much.
