FREANEY - Mike -

May 31, 2023.   Â

We remember with love our wonderful Mike on his second anniversary. Orla and Cai, together with Mike's siblings Dara, Paul and Pete, and our extended families, wish to express our most heartfelt thanks for the many ways in which we have been supported through our heartbreaking loss.        Â

Â

Thank you to everyone who attended Mike's funeral Mass, the guard of honour, to all those who sent lovely Mass cards, letters and texts and those who shared comforting words and happy memories online. Thank you to those who travelled long distances, to those who joined in the celebration of Mike's life on webcam, and to everyone who donated so generously to Recovery Haven Cancer Support in Mike's memory.                    Â

To our families and friends, thank you for your continued and unwavering love and support.

I had the pleasure of working alongside Mike on the design of The Radisson BLU hotel in Dublin. A very talented architect and an absolute gentleman. He lead by example from the front, and always had the time to help people out in the process. I was shocked to hear the sad news of Mike’s passing. Condolences to his family. RIP Mike

I am a long time friend of his brother, Peter. I knew Mike when he was a teenager and I knew then he would become an exceptional man. He was studious and worked hard. He was a pleasure to know and made me feel welcome in his parent’s home. May he Rest In Peace.
