DODD - Dr. George (Mellon Charles, Aultbea, Scotland. late of Ovoca Road, Dublin 8) December 14, 2020, after a short illness, borne with dignity and good humor. Much loved father of Rowan and Isabel and adored grandson Harry. Sadly missed by his brothers Derek, Ken, the late Leslie and his sister Liz (Australia) and their respective families. A Student of Trinity College Dublin and of Oxford University (D.Phil), he later spent many years at Warwick University where he was well acclaimed in Olfactory Research. Funeral has taken place.

I climbed with George in the sixties, both in Dalkey Quarry and in Llanberis Pass, North Wales. He was a decent genuine guy. Sincere sympathies Gareth Ll. Jones Templeogue, Dublin.

My best friend when he and I were 14. I lost track of him when he an d I pursued different studies. Surprisingly I worked for Aultbea Estates in the 1970s. condolences to Derek & Ken. ken Galloway
