FANAGAN - Myra (February 17, 2021)
Johnny, David, Susan, Sally Ann, Michael,
Gary and Carol thank sincerely all those who
sympathised with them at the time of their Mother’s death.
Having lost Paul in 2019 and Stephen in 2020,
this was a difficult time for the family, not helped
by the lockdown restrictions. But the support of
family, relatives, work colleagues, fellow Club
members of many and varied Clubs,
neighbours and friends going way back, was
hugely appreciated. We unreservedly thank all the
staff at Kiltipper Woods Care Centre who could
not have been more kind, caring and loving to her.
We thank Dr. Andrew Coady sincerely. We thank
Fr. Martin Cosgrove, P.P., Church of the Annunciation,
Rathfarnham. Although restricted to ten of us in
the Church for the Funeral Mass, he made it a most
memorable and special occasion for us. We thank Rob
Treolar of Absent Friends whose live streaming of
the Funeral Mass enabled so many to feel part of the
Service. To all the members of Rathfarnham Golf Club
who knew Myra, thank you for being such a huge part
of her life. To all the personnel in Fanagans Funeral
Directors, we thank you for giving our Mother
a much deserved send-off, handled with dignity
and sensitivity. We thank all those who took the time
to write to us, to send Mass cards and to those who were outside
the Church on the morning of her Funeral Mass.
Thank you to all of you who sent such meaningful and genuine
messages of condolence on www.rip.ie. We ask you
to accept this acknowledgement notice as a very big
and heartfelt thank you from Myra’s seven surviving
children. A Mass will be offered for all of you and your
families.
