HUGHES, Philomena (Phil) (née Moore), (late of Galloping Green, Dublin and Isleworth, London), peacefully on May 27,2020 surrounded by her loving niece Jenny and nephews David and Paul and the wonderful staff at Foxrock Nursing Home. A truly wonderful woman; devoted wife of the late John, loving sister of Winifred (Hughes), John (Moore), Bernadette (Laughton, Cork), and Dolores (Flood, Canada) and the late Sheila (Russell), Veronica (Boland), Patricia (O’Brien), Sinead (Sheppard), Eileen (Slater), Tom, Celine (McAuley) and Estelle (McNally). Deeply mourned and very sadly missed by her brothers-in law and her nieces, particularly Jenny and Kim (McNally), nephews, their families and her many fantastic friends and neighbours in Ireland, the UK, Australia and Canada. May she Rest in Peace. Due to government restrictions a private Funeral will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at the Church of Our Lady Perpetual Succour, Foxrock which will be live streamed on the following link: https://foxrockparishchallenges.com/home/webcam/. A celebration of Phil’s life will be held at a future date and details will be provided in due course. At Phil’s request, no flowers please. In lieu donations can be made to the Irish Heart Foundation or Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
