BOYLAN, David (Slim) (Sutton, Dublin) - June 10th, 2021 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family in St. Francis Hospice, Raheny. Sadly missed by his loving wife Niamh, children Nicola, Gareth and Cian, son-in-law David, daughters-in-law Sinead and Deboragh, adored grandchildren Josh, Aaron, Luke and Sophie, brother Dermot, sisters-in-law Orla, Bernice and Liz, brother-in-law Dermot, extended family, relatives and very many friends. Rest in peace. A private family funeral will take place, due to Government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but owing to current restrictions, cannot, may leave a personal message in the ‘Condolences’ section on rip.ie For live-streaming on Monday (June 14th) at 11 o’clock, please visit St. Fintan’s, Sutton parish website.
BOYLAN - David (Slim) died June 10, 2021. On the First Anniversary of David’s death, his wife Niamh, children Nicola, Gareth and Cian, their spouses David, Sinead and Deboragh, along with his adored grandchildren wish to sincerely thank all the wonderful friends and neighbours, old and new, for the thoughtfulness and kindness which they showed to us during David’s illness and at the time of his sad loss. We very much appreciate all the Mass cards and letters of sympathy which were a great comfort to us all. David had many friends and their ongoing support is greatly appreciated; thank you all. A special thanks to the amazing staff in Beaumont Hospital, especially Dr. Quinn and his team, and for the exceptional care given to David in his final hours at St. Francis’s Hospice, Raheny. The Funeral Mass was very special and we thank Fr. Liam Lacey. Also, special thanks for the beautiful and moving singing by Stella Bass and Dana Masters. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression our deepest gratitude.
