BOWERS, Colin, (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) - June 1, 2020. Peacefully in the tender and wonderful care of the staff in the Blackrock Hospice. Colin, beloved husband of Joyce and adored Dad to Rebecca and Nicola. Very sadly missed by his wife, daughters, sisters Christine and Clodagh, brothers Damian, Simon and the late Paul, son-in-law Alan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours and a very wide circle of friends. While we would love to have everyone with us at this very sad time, a private funeral has taken place. Please leave a personal message in the ‘Condolences Section’ on www.irishtimes.ie. his Wife Joyce, Daughters, Rebecca and Nicola and extended family sincerely appreciate the kindness of all who supported and sympathised with us in our very sad loss. A special thanks to our wonderful family, neighbours and many friends who lined the streets at the time of Colin’s Covid restricted funeral. The cards, letters, flowers, gifts, phone calls, messages of condolence and visits to our home were, and continue to be a huge comfort to us. While it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.

May Colin’s love of life and sense

of fun live on in all of us.
