KANE, Michael (Ballsbridge, Dublin 4) - Artist and member of Aosdána - on 23rd May 2025. Beloved husband of Shelley McNamara and loving father of Oisin and Aoife. He will be sadly missed by his wife, son and daughter, brother Tony, son-in-law David, sisters-in-law Barbara and Erica, brothers-in-law Bernard and John, extended family, friends, supporters, fellow artists and members of Aosdána. Michael was looked after with dignity and tenderness by the doctors, nurses and staff at Blackrock Clinic, and by his carers at home. A service in celebration of Michael’s remarkable life will take place in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold's Cross on Wednesday (28th May) at 10.00am. He will be laid to rest afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Michael’s family appreciate your kindness and thoughts, and ask that their home remain strictly private at this sad time.
