DORAN, Joan

DORAN - Joan Elizabeth (née Byrne) June 18, 2026, Sutton Park and formerly of Glasnevin. Peacefully after a short illness, in the gentle care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Gregory, parents William Byrne (of Shamrock Cottages) and Alice Byrne (née OBrien, Glasnevin) and her siblings Peter, Muriel and Pat. Sadly missed by her loving children Joseph, Roslyn, Juliet and Andrew, their partners, her brother Vincent and sister-in-law Yvonne, her adored grandchildren Naoise, Brendan, Daithí (and their mother Emma), Joey, Katie, James, Christian and Bradán, her great-grandchildren Lily, Charlie, Cian and Nancy, also very sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, her exceptional carers, friends and neighbours. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all Joans wonderful carers and the nursing staff who looked after her with such kindness. No flowers please, donations if desired to St Francis Hospice. Forever cherished. Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Tuesday, June 23 from 3 - 5 pm. Removal on Wednesday to the Church of the Resurrection, Bayside arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium.
