WILLIS John (late of Greystones, Co. Wicklow), passed away peacefully, on Monday 1st May 2017, after a long illness borne with the most admirable courage and dignity. Much loved darling husband of Mary (O'Neill) and amazing father of Sarah, Maria and Emma, beloved "Pop" of Zara, Holly, Mia and Alex; sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, sons-in-law, uncle, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reunited with his recently deceased beloved mother, Eileen. A gathering for family and friends will take place in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray this (Wednesday) evening, from 6.00 to 8.00pm. Requiem Mass Friday (May 5) at 10.00am in St. Patrick's Church, Kilquade, Co. Wicklow, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, Dublin 6W. Family flowers only, donations, if desired to PSP Association Ireland (www.pspaireland.ie).
WILLIS John (Greystones, Co. Wicklow) First Anniversary. Our beloved John passed away on May 1, 2017. His wife Mary, his children, Sarah, Maria and Emma, his five granddaughters, his sons-in-law, along with his brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, would like to express our sincerest appreciation to all who sympathised and supported us during this very sad time. Thanks to Fr. John Jacob who celebrated John's funeral Mass, to the choir, led by Dara MacMahon (the choir had such a special meaning for John). To those who sent Mass cards, letters, and sympathy cards, we thank you. Our appreciation to John's GP's Dr. Gráinne Ní Ghairbhi and Dr. Gordon Linnane. A very special thank you to Dr. Seán O'Riordan, Consultant Neurologist at St. Vincent's University Hospital for all the excellent care and kindness he showed to John. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this Acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude and appreciation.So missed.
