WHELAN (née O'Byrne) Marie (Monkstown Valley, Co. Dublin) - January 29, 2012, at Belmont House Nursing Home, Stillorgan, following a long illness bravely borne, loving sister of Jim and John and the late Frank and Edward; sadly missed by her loving brothers, sisters-in-law Claire, Anne and Isolde, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, Dolphin's Barn, SCR (ph. 01 453 8888). Funeral Mass on Monday at the Church of The Assumption, Booterstown Avenue, at 10 o'clock Cremation afterwards at Mount Jerome Crematorium."May she rest in peace"

<p>My lifelong friend</p> <p>60 years we have been friends and I will miss you and all our telephone talks every month while you were able. Even at the hospital last Aug. you still had your sense of humour.</p> <p>All your family will miss you and I hope they will have comfort and peace.</p> <p>Una</p>
