SLATER - Joan - 31st December 2025. Peacefully, in the loving care of Simpson’s Hospital. Much loved daughter of the late John and Maude Slater, loving sister of Ian and late Colin, sister-in-law of Edna and Pamela, aunt of Bruce, Linda, Timothy, Amanda, Lucinda and Annabel and great aunt of Gemma, Ryan, Erin, Orla, Zoe, Sam, Joshua, Eli and Jacob. Joan will be greatly missed by us all and we would like to express our gratitude to the caring staff at Simpson’s Hospital, St James’s Hospital, St Vincent’s University Hospital and to the Rev Nigel Pierpoint, Rector of Taney Parish and Chaplain to Simpson’s Hospital. At Joan’s request, her service of thanksgiving has taken place privately.
