SIMMS, - David (Sandymount, Dublin), June 24, 2018, (formerly of the School of Mathematics, Trinity College Dublin), after a long illness courageously faced under the loving care of the Blackrock Hospice nurses and Mairead Mangan. Beloved husband of Anngret, father of Brendan, Daniel and Ciaran, grandfather of Constance, Tom, Hugh, Arthur, Katherine, Peter, Katie, Lucy, Anna, and Jane, father-in-law of Anita, Flora and Lynn, brother of Mary Sealy, Lisa Shields and Esther Langley. Funeral Service at 11am on Thursday (June 28) in Sandford Parish Church, Ranelagh. No flowers please. Donations if desired to the Blackrock Hospice, Dublin or the Irish Cancer Society.
