CRAIG, Charles (Charlie) (late of Raheny, Dublin 5, and formerly Aughanagh, Co. Sligo) – 29th March, 2024, following a very short illness, peacefully, in the loving care of the doctors and nurses in Hamilton Ward, Beaumont Hospital. Predeceased by his brothers William and Edwin, sister Joan, baby daughter Alison and daughter-in-law Linda. Beloved husband of his heartbroken wife Edith (Edie). Deeply regretted by his sons Ian and Colin, his daughter-in-law Eileen, adored grandchildren Jonah, Lydia, Eva and Rachel, sisters Mabel, Violet and Hilda, and brothers Richard and David, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends, former work colleagues at Heiton McFerran and the members of Clontarf Cricket and Golf Clubs. Reposing privately at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Wednesday morning (3rd April) for family and close friends, prior to his removal to All Saints' Church of Ireland, Raheny, for 11 o'clock Service, followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium. A great life well lived.
