MOORE C.S.Sp., Rev. Michael (Kimmage Manor, Rockwell and late of Gurteen, Co. Laois) Died on Monday 28th October 2024. Missionary in Ireland, Nigeria and the USA. Son of the late Norah (née Phelan) and Rody Moore. Predeceased by his brothers Fintan, Jimmy, Peter and Fr Pat C.S.Sp. and sisters Maisie (Nolan), Bridgie, Teresa (Delaney) and Philomena (Brown). Deeply regretted by his nephew Fr John Brown C.S.Sp., nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and fellow Spiritans. Reposing in St Joseph’s Chapel, Rockwell, Co. Tipperary today (Saturday) arriving approximately 4pm for prayers. Funeral Mass will take place at 11am tomorrow (Sunday) followed by burial in the Rockwell community cemetery.

Sorry to hear of death of Fr Michael. We were both in SVD house in Maynooth in 1976. I was studying for a BA. A real Gentleman. I Was glad to have known him.
