TRAVERS, Patricia Margaret (peacefully), surrounded by her loving family at the McCormick Home - Sunday April 7, 2013. Born in Dublin, Ireland, moved to London, ON. in 1992. Cherished mother, "Ma" to Colm, Eavan, Eoin, Dara, Mella, Francis, Iseult, Abigail and Blanaid, loving grandmother and Aunt to 24 grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews and treasured mother-in-law to Nora Manogue and John Gallaher. Survived by her sister Rosaleen Mooney and her sister in law Brenda Fearon. Predeceased by her husband Jack Travers and parents, Patrick and Tess Keogh, sisters Rita Keogh and Ann Quinlan. Former WAAF, beauty queen, entrepreneur and business woman. Patricia loved her golf and bridge, collecting artworks and painting portraits and landscapes in oils. Known for her film star looks, thousand watt smile and her infectious laughter at various moments both throaty and sultry. Patricia's "joie de vivre" attracted many friends from all walks of life. The family wish to thank the incredible support of McCormick Home staff. The love and care that Patricia enjoyed gave her a quality of life that was exceptional. A funeral Mass will be held tomorrow (Friday), April 12, 2013 at 10 a.m., at St. Michael's Church, 926 Maitland Street, London, Ontario. The family will receive friends in a reception afterwards at St. Michael's hall.
