WALSH, Fintan, October 29th 2023. (Rathfarnham, Dublin / Ballylinan, Laois) - Peacefully, in St James' Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Retired teacher in St Mary's School, Rathfarnham. Predeceased by his infant son Maurice. Beloved husband of Máirín, adored father of Adrian and Niamh and devoted grandad to 6 grandchildren. Fintan will be deeply missed and remembered always by his loving family, his daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing in the Ruah Centre, Ballyroan (D14 T0C8) on Thursday, 2nd November, from 4'oc - 6'oc. Funeral Mass on Friday, at 10'oc, in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan, followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium at 12.15'oc. Family flowers only, donations, in lieu, to a charity of your choice.

WALSH - Fintan (Rathfarnham, Dublin / Ballylinan, Laois) -The family of the late Fintan Walsh wish, on the occasion of his first anniversary (October 29), to express our deeply felt appreciation and thanks to all, at home or abroad, who kindly engaged with us and supported us in any way on the sad occasion of Fintan's passing.

We take this opportunity to also say a special thanks to those who participated with Fintan during his lifetime, particularly his close friends.

We also appreciate the medical care accorded to him over the years, especially that given by the staff in St James Hospital, Orwell Nursing Home and to Professor Ronan Collins, Tallaght Hospital.

Our appreciation extends especially to Fr Michael who presided over a beautiful ceremony, to Peter Massey Funeral Directors, to our vocalist Mary McDade accompanied on guitar by Joe Whittle, to the parish funeral ministers and to the Ballyroan Community for their continuing support.

Fintan May you Rest in Peace
