SHEERIN, Eileen, (New York and Dublin), - June 29, 2013 (peacefully) following a short illness at Columbia University Hospital, New York. Formerly, Department of Foreign Affairs, Dublin, New York University and Hunter College, New York. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her sisters Josephine, Eithne (McKeon), Una (Isherwood) and Mary, nephews Mark, Michael, Rory, Hugh and her niece Christine, grandnephews and grandnieces, brother-in-law Michael, relatives and friends. Eileen's family wish to thank most sincerely the medical, nursing and administrative staff of Columbia University Hospital; the Irish Consulate, New York and special thanks to her friend and neighbour Leonora Danon, Riverdale, NY. Following a cremation service in New York, Eileen's Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 12 at 11.00 a.m. in St Pius X Church, Templeogue, Dublin6W.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílís.
