BRETT, Glounthaune, Co Cork and formerly of Lucan, Co Dublin and Cappauniac, Cahir, Co. Tipperary - February 20, 2015. Peacefully, surrounded by his family, in the tender and compassionate care of the Sisters, nursing and care staff of Bon Secours Care Village, Mount Desert, Cork. Commodore (Rtd) Liam (William John), loving husband of the late Eileen (née Twomey) and dear father of Bríd, Ðenise, Martin and Joseph. He will be sorely missed for his love, life and leadership by his children, son-in-law Seán, grandchildren Róisín, Deirdre and Gearóid Cottrell, Amy and Richard Brett, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of neighbours and friends. Reception prayers this Saturday evening at 7.00pm in the Sacred Heart Church, Glounthaune. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am followed by burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Little Island.
