BISHOP Maurice (Howth and formerly of Aer Lingus, died August 13, 2013) - The family of the late Maurice Bishop would like to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with and are continuing to support them following their sad loss. Thanks to all those who attended the funeral, who sent sympathy cards or letters and who have been especially thoughtful to Kay as she adjusts to her new life. The kindness of people has been wonderful and helps greatly at this very difficult time. Grateful thanks to the Rev Ken Sherwood and Rev Dr Bill O'Neill for conducting a lovely service and to Eunan McDonald for the music that made it even more personal. We would also like to thank the wonderful, caring staff of The Bon Secours Hospital, Glasnevin who looked after Maurice so well during his short illness and the doctors and staff of the Portmarnock Clinic for their many years of care and kindness. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
