BIRDTHISTLE, Norman (Shelbourne Road Lower, Limerick) - Norman passed away peacefully on March 28th 2024, surrounded by his family in the loving care of the Cara Unit at Milford Hospice. Much loved husband of Mary and loving father to Elizabeth, Grainne, Norman, Caroline and Gregory, he will be forever missed by his adoring grandchildren Megan, Holly, Alexander, Noah, Zach, Christopher, Mac, Joshua, Saul, Blaise and Sienna, sons-in-law Aasmund and David, daughters-in-law Sherley and Ciara, brothers and sister, and all his great friends. His wit, intellect and generosity of spirit will remain with us forever, Amor Vincit Omnia Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Limerick today (Easter Monday), April 1st, from 4.30pm to 6pm. Requiem service will take place tomorrow (Tuesday), April 2nd, at 1pm at St Mary’s Cathedral, Limerick. Norman’s service will be live-streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/limerickstmarys House private. Family flowers only and donations if desired to Milford Hospice
