HUGHES, William, (Billy) (late of St. Ita’s Portrane) - October 18, 2012, (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at St. Peter’s Ward, Beaumont Hospital. Beloved son of the late Ella and Dermot Hughes (Mt. Merrion) and beloved brother of Alec, John, Mary, Marguerite and Helen. Rest in peace. Family would like to express their deepest thanks to all the staff in St. Ita’s, Portrane and the nurses and staff of Beaumont Hospital for the love and care they gave to William over the years. Funeral Mass at 10. o’clock on Monday (October 22) in the Church of St Thérèse, Mt. Merrion, Co. Dublin followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetry, Shankill.
