CANNON, Paul MB, MSc, MA (NUI), BA (Dubl), FSB, FCIL, MRIA (Glenageary, Co. Dublin) - Former Professor of Physiology UCC and Professor Emeritus of Pharmacology UCD. 18th March 2023 - After a long and fulfilling life, Paul passed away peacefully in his 100th year in the wonderful care of all the staff of Altadore Nursing Home. Deeply missed by his nephews and nieces, Mark, Davida, Niall and Philippa, grandnephews, grandniece, relatives, good neighbours and friends. Also remembering his sister Anne (Brady). Paul was a scholar whose professional life was devoted to Pharmacology and who went on to become a linguist until his last breath. May Paul continue to live life to the full in his eternal home. Reposing Tuesday 21st March in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 5pm-6pm. Removal Wednesday 22nd March to St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
