HANLEY, Anne (Rathdown Avenue Terenure) - 29th March 2024, late of the Teachers Union of Ireland, in the excellent care of the staff of the HASU and Mary Mercer Ward at St. James Hospital following a short illness. Predeceased by her brothers Edward Joseph Hanley, Vincent and Anthony Hanley, her sister Teresa (née Hanley) Fitzgerald. Very sadly missed by her loving and devoted sister Philomena (Mena), and her nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, wonderful neighbours, and a large circle of friends. House strictly private, please. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook Road, Rathfarnham today (Monday) (1st April 2024) between 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm, Removal tomorrow (Tuesday) morning (2nd April 2024) to the Church of St Josephs, Terenure to arrive for 11.00 am Funeral Mass, followed by burial at Mount Jerome Cemetery.
HANLEY - On the first anniversary of her death (March 29, 2024), the sister, Philomena, and the family of the late Anne wish to thank everyone who sympathised with them at the time of her death. Special thanks to Anne's very kind neighbours, her friends and her former colleagues in the Teachers' Union of Ireland, and to all who attended her funeral, sent condolences and supported Anne's family at this very difficult time. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
