PURCELL, Josephine Marie (Jo) (née Mullally) (Blackrock, Killiney and Ballybay, Co. Monaghan) - June 22, 2017, (peacefully), in the wonderful care of the dedicated staff at Newtownpark House, Blackrock, last surviving daughter-in-law of the late Professor Pierce F. Purcell and wife of the late Thomas Desmond Purcell (1984), pre-deceased by her daughter Amy (2008); greatly loved and admired, she will be sadly missed by her family, Peter G. (Cork), Christine McDonald (Richmond Va. USA) and Michael P. (Foxrock), her grandchildren Simon and Amy, Christopher and Johanna, Jonathan and Catherine, Natalie, Hayley and Gregory, her six great-grandchildren, son-in-law Roger and especially by her daughter-in-law Isobel. Removal tomorrow (Saturday) morning to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, for 10.00 am. Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards at Deansgrange Cemetery.May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.
