Nicholas was more than a landlord to us. His genuine care touched our lives in countless ways. His compassion and willingness to help knew no bounds. He was truly exceptional. We miss him deeply !

I have been a neighbour of Nicholas for over 20 years, and shared a love of wildlife and cats. He always had so much compassion for the creatures that took refuge in his garden, feeding them regularly. Many of my cats were born in Nicholas' garden, one whom I adopted after he'd been hit by a car, and Nicholas had taken to the vet. He cared for them but also respected their wild nature. He hated injustice and unfairness, which is why he was so involved in local crime prevention; he believed in looking out for each other. With Nicholas there was always a smile and a chat. And style! Always a gentleman. He will be deeply missed on this road and around Ranelagh.
