WEAFER (Mount Merrion, Dublin) - December 17, 2013 (peacefully) after a long illness borne with great dignity and courage, Dora, daughter of the late John and Mary, sister of the late Marie. Very sadly missed by her sister Kate, brothers-in-law Seamus and Don, her nieces Darina, Ciara and Nicola, nephews Declan, Seamus and Paul, her extended family and friends. Reposing tomorrow (Thursday) in Quinn's of Glasthule from 3.00pm to 5.00pm. Funeral Friday to the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion arriving at 9.50am for 10.00am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.May she Rest in Peace
WEAFER Dora (Mount Merrion) - As we approach the First Anniversary of Dora's death on December 17, 2013 we, her sister Kate (Catherine) Smyth, her brothers-in-law Seamus and Don, her nephews and nieces Declan, Seamus, Darina, Ciara, Paul, Nicola together with her extended family wish to express our deepest appreciation to all who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved Dora. To the many friends, colleagues, and parishioners who phoned, wrote letters, sent Mass cards, floral tributes and attended the funeral as we said our sad goodbye, we extend our warmest gratitude. To those who shared their many stories of how Dora touched their lives we say thanks. A special thanks to Dora's loyal friends who visited her regularly, sat with her and brought her great comfort. We will never forget your kindness. Thanks to the staff of Belmont Nursing Home, the Blackrock Hospice Home care team, her GP Dr. Conor Murphy for the wonderful care you all gave to her. A special thanks to her colleagues in DIT, Sion Hill PPU, Dublin South Fianna Fail and M M R A for the lovely memories you all shared with us. We sincerely thank Fr. Tony Coote for the funeral Mass and his kind words of consolation which made parting with Dora somewhat easier. Please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere token of our heartfelt gratitude as it would be impossible to thank you all individually. Mass will be offered for you all. Dora's First Anniversary Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 17 AT 10.00am in Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion.
