BYRNE, Micheál (Mike) (Henry Street, Galway) - 22 July, 2023, in peace, following a long illness borne with courage, grace and dignity. Dearly beloved son of the late Michael and Lily. Adored 'big brother' and gentle uncle who will be enormously missed by his brothers and sisters, Mary, Francis, Paddy, Anne, John, Ger, Kevin, Imelda, Damien and Jack and their families, his Aunt Teresa and Uncle Tony, cousins and extended family and friends especially his lifelong friend Eamon, his wife Mary and family. Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue on Tuesday, 25 July from 4.30 p.m. with Removal at 6.00 o’clock. to St. Joseph’s Church, Presentation Road to arrive at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Micheál on Wednesday, 26 July at 11am and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery. Livestream link for Mass on St. Joseph's website.
