SINCLAIR, John (Dalkey, Co. Dublin) – 15th October 2024. Peacefully in the exceptional care of Wicklow Hospice following a brief illness. Predeceased by his sister Andrea and parents James and Audrey. Greatly missed by his beloved Maeve, brother David, sister-in-law Teresa, nephews David and Mark, niece Olivia, grandnieces Julia and Orla, all his cousins, the O’Beirne family, friends and neighbors in Dalkey, as well as many former colleagues from his long career as a European Commission official in Brussels, Washington DC and Grange, Co. Meath until his retirement in 2012. A special thank you to the medical teams at St James Hospital and the extraordinary staff of the Clayton Burlington Hotel, Dublin. A private funeral took place in Dublin on October 18th.
