MEREDITH, T.D.V. Meredith (Des) - As we approach the first Anniversary of Desmond' s passing (July 12) his wife Thyra, son Mark and daughter Carol wish to thank those who travelled from near and far to attend his funeral and cremation and to those who sent flowers, cards and letters of sympathy. A special word of thanks to the Rev. Kevin Brew who led the service and made it very special. We cannot forget our wonderful relatives, friends and neighbours (members of his beloved Bridge Club) who visited Des in Beaumont Hospital during his illness and gave us such great support during the past difficult year nor can we forget the wonderful care he received in St. Francis Hospice Raheny where he passed away surrounded by his family.
