Thank you
I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my former teacher, Audrey, or Miss Chisholm as we always called her. She was an inspiration to all of her pupils whom she taught with passion and great dedication. She inspired a love of piano in me something that I shall always treasure. My prayers and sympathy to her family and friends. We shall miss her dearly. Andrew Larkin

Distraught

THE most truly greatest teacher I was blessed to have for 20 years. She selflessly invested her whole self in each and every one of her students, whom she loved dearly. No doubt, her boundless musicality and knowledge will live through them forever. You will never be forgotten. Sorry that I never got to say good-bye xx Love

Deepest Sympathy

What a cherished and beloved teacher and mentor Miss Chisholm was to all of our family. We have such lovely memories of her. Her energy, her love of music, her concern for her students, her splendid eccentricity, and that sense of fun and mischief: she will be much missed by all three of us. What memories of her teaching us Friday afternoon and evenings, with characteristic verve and passion, high up in the the Academy, with its old sash windows and peeling Victorian plaster. And dashing out on occasion to put money in the car metre.

Living far away in Washington DC., I deeply regret that I cannot join family and friends at her funeral; I will be there in spirit, and send prayers and thoughts especially to Danvers. Your sister had such an influence on our lives, and she shared with us her love of the piano and of music, a love that has shaped our paths in life. And I suspect she would have wished it that way.

Ar dheis De go raibh a hanam dhilis.

A grateful former student,

Hilary
