SCALLON (Eugene) (6 Knocknamoe Road, Omagh, Co. Tyrone) (died September 23, 2006) - Eugene's family would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with and supported them in so many ways in their recent very sad loss. To the doctors and nurses in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, who were so kind to Eugene during his many treatments, also to the doctor and staff of the Bridgewater Suite in the City Hospital, to Dr. Deehan, the family doctor for her constancy and dedication, to Dr. Robinson and the Macmillan nurses for their kindness and care, to the district nurses and those who were so helpful from the Health Centre, to the Marie Curie nurses and Glen Caring who were so kind, to the doctors and nurses and staff our Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross who offered such dedicated care and attention to Eugene in the latter stages of his illness, to the priests of the parish and the many priest friends and religious who called and phoned and offered such spiritual support to the whole family, to the many people, some who travelled long distances, who visited the house, attended the removal and the funeral and to the many people who helped in the house, who wrote, who sent flowers, hospice donations and had Masses offered. To Frs. Kevin and Paschal Scallon for the beautiful Funeral Mass, to the many priest friends who concelebrated and attended,to the organist, soloist and choir at the Funeral Mass for the beautiful music, for the prayerful support of so many which has sustained us through a very sad time. We offer heartfelt thanks to all and pray that God may bless you. The Sacrifice of The Holy Mass will be offered for your intentions.
