STARKEN C.S.SP., Rev. Brian (Kimmage Manor, late of Kilcormac, Co Offaly and Lyreacrompane, Co. Kerry) Died on Tuesday 29th October 2024. Missionary in Ireland and Sierra Leone. Son of the late Elizabeth (née Cloonan) and Henry Starken. Deeply regretted by his brother Pat and sisters-in-law Nora and Pauline, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand -nephews, great-grand-nephew, extended family, friends and fellow Spiritans. Predeceased by his sisters Marie (Noone) and Sr Elizabeth Pacelli PBVM, his brothers Hal, Frank and Gabriel, nephew Gabriel and great-grand-nephew Éanna. Rest in Peace. Reposing in the Church of the Transfiguration, Bawnogue D22 F2C2 on Friday (1st November) from 6pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of the Holy Spirit Kimmage Manor D12 WP44 for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery.

Our dear friend Fr Brian Starken will be greatly missed by my family. We had some very special time together when he came to Charleston this past May. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.
